Happy October fellow Ramblers! Goodbye, September - Hello, Spooky Season filled with candy, autumn leaves, cozy sweaters, and of course, the classic pumpkin spice latte. Now, I’m not one of those people that will get a PSL every day because I think they can be a little too sweet and sickening if I drink too many. However, once in a while, especially on the colder days, I do enjoy drinking a piping hot PSL to warm myself. What I don’t enjoy, though, is the price tag on said PSL. A grande PSL at Starbucks is about $6.59 CAD ($4.95 USD). That’s a sh*t ton of money for one medium-sized latte! So, I took things into my own hands, bought some pumpkin puree, and started making my own PSLs. This recipe is for all my on-a-budget, vegan, lazyish, and busy pumpkin spice latte lovers.

Hey, hey Ramblers! Happy September! I cannot believe that we are already in September. I swear the summer just flew by and my classes just appeared out of thin air (which is why this blog is up a little later than usual). Anyways, this week’s blog is about photography, specifically portrait photography. Besides working, studying and baking, I am also passionate about photography. Even though I like all types of photography, I tend to do more portrait photography because I love doing photoshoots with people and editing portraits. Whether you’re an amateur or professional photographer, however, one of the hardest things about portrait photography… is finding models. So here are 7 super easy, convenient ways to find models, clients, or guinea pigs to improve your portrait photography.

Hey, hey Ramblers! Who’s getting excited and ready to go back to school?? Not me, that’s for sure. To be honest, I didn’t even look up when my Fall semester starts until today. Boy was I surprised when I found out that classes start the first week of September. I knew that classes would start in September, but I was really hoping it would be mid-September cause I can already tell it is going to be one hectic semester: from school to work at the lab to MCAT classes and medical school preparation to my other side jobs to anything that falls under the adulting umbrella, which let’s be honest, is everything. On top of that, I’ll also have to find the time and motivation to exercise, eat healthily, and maintain and create new relationships. Phew, I really don’t know how I’m going to make it through this semester. But, starting today, I’m going to spend the next two weeks GYSTing (get your shit together-ing) so that I can take on the rest of the year by the horns!

Happy August Ramblers! Can you all believe it’s already August 1st? I definitely can’t. I feel like the start of summer was just yesterday. Summer vacation might be over soon, but the heat is definitely not going anywhere anytime soon. I don’t know about you guys but, personally, this heat is making me crave ice cream so much. Like all the fudging time. As delicious as ice cream might be, it’s definitely not the best thing for my waistline, so I have turned to a much healthier and still wonderfully delicious alternative.
