This week I, unfortunately, got on the wrong direct bus 50 minutes in the wrong direction from my destination. It was dark, cold, and there wasn’t another bus for quite some time to get back to where I needed to go. I was tired and frustrated, and I didn’t feel like dropping $40 on a uber to get back to where I needed to go.

Brief hiatus while I got my life together. Work’s ramping up, I went to Montana to visit my boyfriend, took on a nonprofit project, and another leadership role with the professional organization that I belong too.
Oh, AND I decided it was time to get a new kitten! The pain of losing the first, Frisco, was heartbreaking, but as with any thing in life…the best thing you can do is to KEEP loving, keep sharing your heart, and keep being vulnerable. It’s scary, but it’s worth it in the end.
Baby Breckenridge has moved in with me, and she’s here to stay. I stuck with the Colorado mountain town names to pay tribute to Frisco. She goes by Breck for short, and she’s an absolute delight.
But anyways—this blog is about the concept of time. As an adult, I’ve noticed that time simultaneously moves incredibly slow and yet increasingly fast. Hours fly by, weeks turn into months, and it’s amazing how when you don’t have the built-out schedule that school provides you, how fast things just fly by.
