The view of Horse-tooth Reservoir up at my childhood home.
It’s quarantine day 397... JK. It’s week three here of working remotely, and week two of social distancing. I’ve been held up at home in Fort Collins with family, and it’s been rather nice all things considered. I’ve been going for more runs in the afternoon and doing strength training in the morning. Family dinners every night, and lots of hikes and board games.
Well, shit’s hit the fan, huh? The end of 2019/beginning of 2020 was already one of the worst years of my life but hey, it looks like the whole world decided to jump on that train! How’s everyone coping? Day 7 of quarantine treating you well? My introverted friends, this is your time to shine. As for my fellow extroverts…power through.
Here in Colorado most public areas like bars, movies, gyms, etc. are closed until May (long after my 23rd birthday, but hey no one likes you when you’re 23 anyways). In all seriousness, conditions across the globe right now are less than ideal. A high rise of panic, a huge crash in the markets, and the new term of ‘social distancing’ have become commonplace. I used to love reading a ton of post-apocalyptic books as a kid, but I never wanted to actually be a part of one!
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
