Hope everyone is having a good start to the week. I keep waiting for it to feel like Fall, but it’s still like 80 degrees out here in Colorado. Bleh! Anyways, I wanted to take the time this week to write about the importance of checking in with people, not taking anything for granted, and remembering to spread joy. Ya, ya I know...it might be a little cheese-fest up here this week!
But what sparked these thoughts for me was watching my mom lose a relative this weekend, and discussing with my girl friends the over brunch the importance of choosing to spread love and constantly let those in your life know that they matter. There’s a TON of negativity floating around these days, and I get it...it’s easy to fall habit to those patterns or forget to be mindful of how you’re treating those around you. So here is just a friendly reminder to:
A) Call your parents
B) Check-in on your friends
C) Let someone know that you appreciate them this week and why.
You never know when the last time you’ll get to see that person will be.
So, if you want to stop here because you’re tired of my mushiness... that’s fine! But I wanted to share a few reminders to the people in my life that they matter. So here’s my love letter to them:
To everyone in my life, a reminder that YOU are loved. You matter, and you’re appreciated. I encourage you all to spread some love in your life this week!
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
