Happy Friday Junior Ramblers! In case you haven’t guessed it already from listening to the podcast or following our social media, today we are talking about how I got to meet my biological Vietnamese family! If you have been with us since the beginning of time, then you already know that I, Anne, was adopted when I was 8 months old. In case you didn’t know that, here is the blog post I wrote in January about my adoption and all that. At the end of that post, I said that I wanted to visit Vietnam and my Vietnamese family this summer. Well, guess what? I did just that

Something I wanted to blog about today is around relationships in your twenties, and how it can be so difficult to understand what’s right, what’s wrong, and what you want. It’s navigating endless waters and different turns, not knowing what’s around each bend. And I’m not even talking romantic relationships, but all important connections that you make during this time.

We took a bit of a vacation… (well Anne was still in Vietnam, and I took off for the week of the 4th)….but ANYWAYS, now that we’re both back we are ready to rumble and ramble with you! This week is all about bargains, saving, and how to make every penny count as a young adult. I mean, let’s face it, sometimes you have to get a little scrappy, especially because the real world is expensive AF!

It’s nice to meet you! I’ve been a friend of these two since middle school and man how time flies. To think we’re working on advanced degrees or getting our feet wet in the world that is a full time job. Similar to Bailey, I’m working full time at my first job just getting the hang of that adulting life. But we’re not here to talk about how to adult or excel at work today, today is about having fun.

Well, I apologize for once again being delayed in blogging. But as usual, we have a ton going on! Summertime is always hectic for us, as I’m sure it is for you. What I wanted to talk about today is the concept of growth.

Happy June! Where did the time go? Since Anne is off traversing the streets of England and Vietnam for a month, you’re stuck with me and various guests until she returns. If you’re like me you probably have a super busy summer ahead, but there’s still time to pack in a few mini-trips here and there. This week, I wanted to share a few weekend getaways that I’m hoping to get under my belt for this summer. I’ve shared my top staycation destinations below for those of you in the Colorado area.
I believe the richest people in the world are those who are rich in experiences, and there is nothing like a summer packed full of memories to make you feel like the wealthiest person in the world!

So today I’m going to go on a bit of a tangent—so this is the warning if you’re not into protecting the environment, impacting climate change, or general tree hugging to back out now. In fact, if you don’t believe that we need to take a serious look in the mirror as a society and fix the mess we made; please do me a favor and pick up a real book.
You may be asking why is this important? It’s just a little weather isn’t it? So, what if our summers are warmer, there’s a few more hurricanes, maybe a couple less cuddly animals are roaming around…WRONG. Let me paint a picture for you.

Happy Friday, sorry I’m so behind, this week has been crazy. With friends graduating, my boyfriend moving back in, and about a hundred other things needing attention; I hope you understand! I am so excited for things to slow down when summer rolls around. As most of you know, I recently just turned 22 and just surpassed a year-to-date of being graduated from college. It’s kind of weird seeing how quickly a year goes by once you’re out of school, and to have so much changed and yet nothing at all has. I thought I would share a few pieces of advice, for any other young adults out there navigating this crazy world!

Happy Earth Day, Ramblers!
Please remember to do your part to take care of our planet. Even the smallest of things can make a large impact. I’m talking one meat-less meal a week, recycling, carpooling a few times to work, and planting more flowers. That seems pretty easy, right? You could also donate to an environmental cause! I donated to the Nature Conversancy today, since they’re matching all donations in support of Earth Day.
Sorry to get all tree-hugger preacher on you, but the environment is super important to me. And honestly, it should be super important to YOU too because we literally only have one home, and once that’s gone, it’s gone forever. Anyways, today’s blog is about something near and dear to my heart that is indeed related to our beautiful planet…and that is top National Parks to visit for your summer bucket list.
