So today I’m going to go on a bit of a tangent—so this is the warning if you’re not into protecting the environment, impacting climate change, or general tree hugging to back out now. In fact, if you don’t believe that we need to take a serious look in the mirror as a society and fix the mess we made; please do me a favor and pick up a real book.
You may be asking why is this important? It’s just a little weather isn’t it? So, what if our summers are warmer, there’s a few more hurricanes, maybe a couple less cuddly animals are roaming around…WRONG. Let me paint a picture for you.

Happy Friday, sorry I’m so behind, this week has been crazy. With friends graduating, my boyfriend moving back in, and about a hundred other things needing attention; I hope you understand! I am so excited for things to slow down when summer rolls around. As most of you know, I recently just turned 22 and just surpassed a year-to-date of being graduated from college. It’s kind of weird seeing how quickly a year goes by once you’re out of school, and to have so much changed and yet nothing at all has. I thought I would share a few pieces of advice, for any other young adults out there navigating this crazy world!

Happy Earth Day, Ramblers!
Please remember to do your part to take care of our planet. Even the smallest of things can make a large impact. I’m talking one meat-less meal a week, recycling, carpooling a few times to work, and planting more flowers. That seems pretty easy, right? You could also donate to an environmental cause! I donated to the Nature Conversancy today, since they’re matching all donations in support of Earth Day.
Sorry to get all tree-hugger preacher on you, but the environment is super important to me. And honestly, it should be super important to YOU too because we literally only have one home, and once that’s gone, it’s gone forever. Anyways, today’s blog is about something near and dear to my heart that is indeed related to our beautiful planet…and that is top National Parks to visit for your summer bucket list.

Happy Spring, and happy birthday season for Anne and me over here! Along with us, many of our friends have birthdays coming up within the next few weeks, so it’s often a time that the money is low but the celebrations are high. In terms of best gifts to get your girl friends, 20 something pals, or for those friends who are about to graduate, I got you! See below and let me know what you think in the comments.

Happy Spring, Ramblers! I know it’s officially been Spring since March 20th, but there’s something about April that just makes everything seem so much more like Spring. The end of the semester is coming up, the layers of jackets are slowly coming off, and my motivation to keep working on all those New Year’s resolutions is coming back stronger than ever. As exciting as April is, though, it is also very, very busy time with all the final exams, assignments, social events, birthdays (there are a lot of April babies, me included), and everything in between. One thing that keeps me calm during all this chaos is Sping cleaning, mentally and in the house!

Long time no see, Ramblers!
I took a much needed week off, sunning it up in Jamaica with the Gannett family. It was absolutely breathtaking and 100% needed to get me back in the right mindset to tackle Spring head on.
Springtime is one of my favorite times of the year. In the corporate world, we’re wrapping up Quarter One, and in the school world, the spring semester is coming to a finale. It’s time for that final push before summer, a rebirth so-to-speak of your best you. And “Spring Cleaning” can mean much more than revitalizing your closest! As you blossom alongside the flowers and embrace the warmer days to come, spring is the perfect time to declutter your life.

Are you a Virgo? Pisces? Or maybe a stubborn Taurus like myself? No matter what you are, I think we can all agree that there is a bit of guilty pleasure in reading your horoscope to find out more about “you.” I think majority of people are somewhat narcissistic in the sense that we all love to hear about ourselves, talk about ourselves, and see ourselves. Hence, the Instagram culture, selfie obsession, and endless Buzzfeed quizzes telling you what type of cupcake you are.
Horoscopes fall into this category of self-interest, but I often feel they get a bad reputation that’s not deserved! Today we’re going to debunk whether horoscopes are real or fake, and the history behind them.

I am SO happy it’s March and I’m so happy that I’m finally feeling recovered from wisdom teeth surgery. The biggest thing I’m looking forward to in March is Spring Break in Jamaica with my family. I feel super fortunate to be able to go on this trip, and I didn’t think “spring break” would be an option when I graduated college.
I think taking trips and time for yourself is super important for recharging and making sure you can actually be effective in the rest of your life. Obviously, I recognize that the ability and privilege to take trips isn’t one that is afforded to all, but even if it’s just a day trip or a stay-cation; it’s important to make the most out of it. I’ve gathered up my best trip planning trips for you all, and I hope it makes your Spring Break A+!

Hello Ramblers! I hope you guys are having a great week! I am having such a fun week as it is my Spring Break and I have been road tripping around Vermont and skiing. Anyways, if you’ve read Bailey’s blog and listened to the podcast, then you probably noticed the reoccurring theme of friendship. One of the big things we mentioned about friendships is how hard it is to make new friends as young adults, especially after college.

“A friend is what the heart needs all the time.” ~ Henry Van Dyke
It’s been a crazy day already. I recently got all four of my wisdom teeth removed a few days ago, so work and my organizations that I’m a part of have really been piling up. So, I hope that you are having a better Monday than me. Anyways, this week’s theme is all around the importance of friendship, and the vital role that plays in a 20-something’s point in life.
