So, today’s blog was supposed to be on running my first 5k, but well...time got away from me and I haven’t had the chance to sign up for one yet. I know, I know, no excuses, but to be fair I wasn’t expecting life to get as busy as it has! With the demands of working, wisdom teeth surgery, and a trip down to Jamaica, it put my running goals on pause. But that’s alright, because we’re jumping back into it, and the important thing is progress!

My name is Anna. I´m a third-year college student who spends most of her time studying and working. But when I´m not in the classroom or at the office, you can catch me in the gym most days. Working out is something that I’ve considered to be my favorite hobby for a couple of years now. Before I get into my routine and what I do, let me also say that working out isn’t about punishing yourself, but it’s about finding what you enjoy doing! Whether it’s running, kickboxing, lifting or biking, it’s okay to take time to explore all the different possibilities to see what drives your passion to workout.

Good afternoon Ramblers,
As the holidays approach and things are starting to get CRAZY busy before the break, it’s important to remember to carve out time for you. While exercise, healthy eating, and staying physically fit are important, good health is so much more than just that. Mental well being, mindfulness, and practicing a healthy dose of self-care is just as vital in keeping yourself in tip-top shape.
