Welcome Ramblers to my humble blog post! Grab yourself a cup of your favorite drink and get cozy because today, I am going to tell you everything I know on my biological Vietnamese family. Now, I already talked about my Vietnamese family a little bit in the podcast. However, since the universe likes to work in funny ways, I received a big load of news literally less than 24 hours after recording this week’s podcast. So, here is a blog post to update all of you and to clarify any questions you might have had after listening to the podcast!

I’m trying to pick up a bit of Italian as my boyfriend is going to be in Italy for the next few months. So if you need me, I’ll be busy trying to distract myself with blogging, friends, and everything exciting that comes with being a 20-something.
This week, we decided to poll the audience for topics to write about and podcast on. And you all had some great ideas! Obviously, there’s not enough time to touch on everything, but I pulled out a few of the super interesting ones to chat about. If I didn’t get to yours, please comment below and I’ll be sure to get it next time.

Well, tonight is your lucky night because I am sharing the recipe for one of my favorite desserts. It’s easy, it’s quick, and it’s only three ingredients. What is this recipe sent from the dessert gods, you ask? Well, it is nothing less than the delightful, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate mousse.

So, recently, my boyfriend and I went to the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art. Keep in mind, he’s a super artistic, creative mind that excels at things like design and abstract-thinking. I, on the other hand, love beautiful things and can appreciate the aesthetics of life, but I’ve never been a person who truly ‘gets’ art.

Happy Monday, Ramblers!
Hopefully your week, and your 2019, are off to a good start. I know life gets crazy busy, but sometimes curling up with a good book can really help you separate from all the hectic events in life. As a kid, I would read nonstop, going through almost a book a day during the summertime. My parents had to get me a kindle, and even then I’d wrack up the bills, spending countless dollars on each and every book I could get my hands on. I was an incredibly voracious reader, and great storytelling will always have a place in my heart. As an adult, I don’t get to read as much, but I’d like to incorporate more reading into my 2019 schedule. Below you’ll find my top five suggestions for good books to add to your new year reading list.

Welcome back Ramblers! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to kick 2019 in the butt! I bet many of you had a New Year’s resolution that involved leading a healthier lifestyle and a big part of being healthier is to have a healthy diet. Easier said than done though, am I right? Sometimes, the hardest part about eating healthy isn’t the actual eating part, it’s the shopping part.
